Before giving your consent, we will inform you about the purposes of the cookies belonging to each category, while you can read about the names and duration, as well as general information about cookies, in the text below.

What are cookies and how do we use cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that your browser stores on a computer or mobile device when visiting a particular website. Using cookies, the website remembers your actions and preferred settings (such as login, language, font size and other preferred display settings) over a longer period of time, so they do not need to be entered again each time you return to the website or browse its different pages.

Cookies can be divided according to duration, source or function.

According to duration, cookies can be divided into persistent cookies, which remain stored even after closing the browser, remember information such as login, language and settings, and can last for days, months or years, and temporary cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted after closing the browser and are used to store temporary data.

According to source, cookies can be divided into first-party cookies, which are set by the website that the user directly visits, and third-party cookies, which are set by other services present on the website, most commonly for tracking users or providing additional features.

According to function, the cookies we use on this website are divided into:

Necessary, analytical and marketing cookies.

NECESSARY COOKIES

Necessary cookies are required for the proper functioning of the website's features and ensuring security during its use, and we do not collect your consent for the use of this type of cookies in accordance with the applicable regulations. You can set your browser to block these cookies or send a warning about them, but in that case some parts of the website will not work.

This includes:

− user security cookies used to detect authentication abuse, of limited duration (we use them to process information that enables us to ensure security and to detect fraud and abuse);

− multimedia content cookies, such as Flash Player cookies (for the duration of browsing the website);

− load-enabling cookies, for the duration of browsing the website;

− persistent cookies for adapting the user interface for the duration of browsing the website (we use them to enable you to provide feedback on the website).

ANALYTICAL (STATISTICAL) COOKIES

After obtaining your consent, we use analytical cookies to collect data about the use of this website and to analyze data about its use (demographic data, user interests, etc.) for the purpose of improving the user experience, and such cookies help us improve this website. We must inform you that when using this category of cookies, data is transferred to third countries.

This includes:

− first-party and third-party cookies and other identifiers for collecting data on usage and performance, for example: we may use them to count unique visitors to a website or service and to develop other statistics on the operation of this website.

MARKETING COOKIES

After obtaining your consent, these cookies serve us to track users through the website in order to increase the relevance of the advertisements you receive. We must inform you that when using this category of cookies, data is transferred to third countries.

This includes:

− cookies for the development and improvement of services (third-party promotional cookies) – we use cookies to collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that we can show you advertisements that may be of most interest to you. You can also opt out of receiving interest-based advertisements that we send you, as described in our Privacy Rules. We also use cookies to record, for example, how many visitors clicked on an advertisement and which advertisements you have seen, so that the same advertisements are not shown to you repeatedly.

− social network plugin cookies intended for tracking.

The Organizers cannot fully influence the processing of personal data carried out by third parties.

The Organizers do not use cookies for any purpose other than the one described in our Privacy Rules and these Rules.

In addition, it is important to note that some videos embedded on our pages use a cookie to anonymously collect statistics about how you arrived at and which videos you visited.

Transfer to third countries

The Organizers use tools and services of companies and social networks that do not operate within the European Union. We are obliged to warn you that third parties such as Google LLC may transfer your personal data to the USA, where it may become available to US government authorities, if the data transfer is not compliant with the mechanisms for lawful and secure transfer prescribed by the General Data Protection Regulation.

We care about the protection of your data and, precisely for this reason, in our business we use various legal options for the lawful transfer of personal data, which will ensure an even higher level of your protection.

On 10 July 2023, the European Commission adopted a new adequacy decision based on which personal data may be freely transferred from the European Union to companies in the USA that participate in the Data Privacy Framework.

The adequacy decision is based on Article 45 of the General Data Protection Regulation and represents a mechanism that ensures the secure and lawful transfer of data to third countries. Companies in the USA that wish to participate in the Data Privacy Framework must undergo a self-certification process and be registered on the list of companies that have joined the Data Privacy Framework.

The Organizers will use the adequacy decision for the transfer of personal data with service providers that successfully self-certify and join the Data Privacy Framework.

The Organizers will use the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses under the General Data Protection Regulation for the transfer of personal data with service providers that do not join the Data Privacy Framework.

We will additionally inform you about all measures taken and, after the adjustment period has elapsed, we will also amend our policies.
